Add another to that already heady list: Jackson’s Organic Coffee, a family-owned, small-batch roastery. Just brewed a fresh pot (they were kind enough to donate some beans to my radio station’s membership drive – thanks!), and it’s outstandinger than hell.

We roast our coffee daily on a small-batch drum roaster. With a small roaster, we can control every aspect of the roast down to the most minute detail. This is important because proper control allows us to “draw out” the subtle nuances that are locked away in the coffee beans.
